Hello ladies and gents! Today is a super special day! Thats right, we’ve hit a hundred followers! I’m so excited for this, and would like to thank you all so so much for everything.
As promised I’m doing a Q and A! I’ve gotten a fair few questions about moi self, so here we go!
> What hobbies do you have (besides reading)?
I am a pretty dull person, but I do really like writing, and I do a bit of art (most of which sucks). I do like sketching quite a bit, but I’m awful at it so 😅
> Do you read classics? What’s your favorite?
Does Shakespeare count? I know they’re plays and poems, but I don’t really read a lot of classic novels. I do like reading poetry, but yeah, not many classic novels. Ooh, I did like Little Women though! I love Jo and Meg so much, although Amy was rather conceited and full of herself.
> What is your comfort book you need to cheer you up?
I have a few of these, but I think my favorite is The Little Teashop of Lost and Found. It’s about a girl who is a foundling, and when she grows up she moves back to the place she was found. There she meets Nile, and I’m sure you can imagine how that turns out 😆😅
> Do you like rainy days or sunny days?
Rainy days! They feel really cozy, and they’re perfect reading weather. I do like sunny days too, but I think rainy days take the cake. Oh, and the best smell in the world ever is the smell of rain.
> Tea, coffee or hot chocolate?
Yes. Haha I can’t choose, I like them all. If I had to tho, probably cofee. It smells amazing, and tastes just as good 😋
> What is your Hogwarts house?
Slytherin! To be very specific Slytherclaw, but yeah, Slytherin. I feel like we get a bad rep, but Slytherins are actually not that bad.
> Why did you name your blog Letters To The Lost?
Because that’s how I see books. There’s so many tiny bits in books that I can relate to, sometimes they seem as though they were written for me, and I think a lot of people also see books that way.
> What’s your favorite genre?
I have many. Historical fiction, fantasy, psychological thrillers. Among others. And any combination of the three. Particularly historical fantasy *chefs kiss*
> Is Cherry your real name?
It isn’t no. It’s a pen name I guess, but its not my real name. I like to be anonymous on my blog
> Whats your Zodiac sign?
Libra! Although none of the traits associated with Libra are actually anywhere near my own.
> When’s your birthday, and how old are you?
Like I said, I like to be anonymous on here, however I did tell you my zodiac sign, so you know round a bouts.
> Do you have any blog related or non blog related projects you’d like to pursue?
Nothing specific at the moment, nope. I would like to perhaps start a tag sometime in the near future, but I’m kinda nervous about doing that, so let me know if anyone’s interested. I also would like to keep working on a piece of writing I’m doing, but other than that, nothing particular.
> When do you usually read?
All day, every day, 24 hours a day. Jk, I usually read at night, I sometimes have a few hours of free time when I’m not manically studying or doing the odd thing or two.
> Whats your favorite food? What’s one type of cuisine you’ve never tried before?
Hm. Perhaps shawarma? Its a type of Lebanese dish, and when I tell you its so good! I really want to try Korean foods, they all sound incredibly good.
> What are some of your future plans for your blog?
I’m hoping to maybe start reviewing arcs too, and maybe do a few blog tours. Ooh, and I want to start some new weekly posts, but that I’m still thinking about.
> Do you play any instruments?
I don’t, no.
> A book you always recommend and why?
I always recommend We Hunt The Flame because it is perfection in book form. The characters are well developed and lovable, the setting is so vivid, the writing is beyond belief!
> Favorite TV show/ movie?
Probably Dead Poets Society. Or Edward Scissorhands. Both are amazing movies and everyone should go watch them.
> Who is your celebrity crush?
Haha I don’t think I have one 😅🤣
> What are your favorite and least favorite tropes in books?
I love enemies to lovers if it’s done well, heists, bookish themes, strong female protagonists, rags to riches and any ending that leaves me torn (Song of Achilles maybe?) I have a lot I don’t like, for example insta love, or the one bed trope, or the absolutely no personality but two boys are in love with her trope. I’m pretty sure that’s not a trope, it’s just ya books (twilight anyone?) Oh, and miscommunication. Why does that exist and why does everyone get so invested in that miscommunication without checking anything (Romeo? Hear that?)
That was all the questions ladies and gents. And now for my official thank you. This won’t be too long I swear.
I just wanted to say thank you to absolutely everyone who has been a part of my blog. Its been a great 9 months while I’ve been blogging, and I’ve loved every second of it. Thank you all for sticking around, and thank you for helping me build up my blog. With love,
